The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.
After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

“The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower.”

I did not expect to read this books, I told myself to finish the final book in Kylie Scotts Stage dive series as I only had one more book left to read, but I guess I didn’t listen to myself. I was in the middle of another book when I picked this book up and I did not read the summary on goodreads like I usually do, so I didn’t really know what to expect other than it was another Kylie Scott book.

“Things as I knew them were just props. My happiness needed to come from me. I could build my own home, make a future for myself. Not rely on someone else to come along and magically make me feel like I had worth, as if I belonged. I could be strong on my own.”

This book is a nice light hearted romance book that will make you laugh out loud with characters you will be swooning over. The main character, Vaughan is a swoon worthy character and Lydia is one of those females who you will love. I did not find any of the dive bar character annoying, I quite enjoyed them all and am anticipating their books. Kylie Scott has a way with her books that completely sucks you in and won’t let you go until you have finished the book, and that is what happened to me, I could not go to sleep until I finished the book, and it is kind of my fault as I started reading it at 9 pm thinking I’d only read a couple chapters before bed, but I obviously should have known better, I mean c’mon it is a Kylie Scott book, I don’t know what I expected.

This book is light hearted and fun to read when you need a light book. If you’re a Kylie Scott fan and you have not picked up Dirty yet, then I suggest you do immediately. I am very excited for the second book to this series, titled, Twist.
